Therapist for adults and couples
Special Interest: trauma, attachment, relational issues, anxiety and depression
I am a Registered Psychotherapist who works with individuals and couples. I have been working in the Mental Health field since 2012 and am very excited to be a part of the Journey Well Team! I grew up in Oxford County and am the mother of two amazing kids!
I believe that you are the author of your own story. My goal is to provide a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space within which you can share your concerns and hopes; allowing you to grow, explore and understand your emotions and how they impact you and your relationships. I am committed to understanding your unique needs, strengths, and goals.
In our work together, I will tailor my approach to you and what best fits your needs. I use various approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution Focused, Narrative Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy. All my work is trauma and attachment informed.
I work with people experiencing anxiety, depression and the impacts of trauma. I support couples and individuals to overcome relationship challenges and deepen their connections to each other.
As we develop a therapeutic relationship, my hope is that you will find a place to be heard, understood, validated and empowered to be the person or couple you desire to be.
“Loving ourselves through the process of owning our story is the bravest thing we will ever do. If you own this story you get to write the ending.” ~Brené Brown.
