Psychology Student / Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Special interest: anxiety, stress, depression
Hey there! My name is Vincent Lizotte, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I have a BA in Psychology from Western University, King’s College, and am currently completing a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University.
Coming from a boisterous French-Canadian family, I appreciate the importance of culture, good food, and finding a place to call home. Having lived in a few cities across Ontario and Quebec, I now enjoy homesteading in beautiful Norfolk County with my wife, two young kids, extended family, and Sunny, the Collie/Aussie mix…consequently, I get to enjoy lots of trail running!
Previously, I’ve worked as a Montessori/Nature school instructor, retail management, and even in a factory setting before moving to Mental Health with CMHA in 2014.
Working from an Adlerian stance, informed by narrative theory, culturally competent Indigenous training, and a spiritually informed mindfulness perspective, I really enjoy getting people clear of what’s been troubling them. I am working toward certification in Rapid Resolution Therapy, and EFT for couples/families.
My intention is to work with you to clear any guilt, shame, anger, anxiety, and depression at their root, to get you free and clear to put more energy into what you love, whatever that may be. Talk to you soon!
You can reach Vincent directly at (226) 253-0835 or via our main phone number (226) 253-0864, ext. 110. Vincent can also be reached via email at vincent@journeywell.ca
