Therapist for children, adults, seniors, and couples
Special interest: life transitions including career changes, parenting and conflict management, school issues and behaviour, exploring trauma and experiences of anxiety from a narrative and emotionally focused theoretical orientation.
As a member of the counselling team at Journey Well, my hope is to provide thoughtful support, travelling together with you, as you navigate your journey. Everyone has life experiences that can be challenging, whether connected to conflict, loss, stress, life transitions or traumatic events. Psychotherapy can help to address challenges that impact our daily functioning, including our moods and relationships. I look forward to supporting you on the pathway to healing.
My educational background includes a degree in Education, a minor in Sexuality, Marriage and the Family (SMF), and a certificate in Conflict Management and Mediation. Most recently I completed my Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. I am a Registered Psychotherapist – Qualifying with the Ontario College of Registered Psychotherapists. My scope of practice includes working with children and youth, couples and individuals. When you are ready to have the sometimes difficult conversations that can inspire personal growth and improve overall well-being, I am happy to connect with you and to join you on your journey.
When I am not in the office, I enjoy reading, travelling, walking my dog Bentley, and working in both my vegetable and flower gardens.
