Everyone's situation is different so it is really hard to predict how many sessions or how long you will attend. We will create a plan that fits best for you and we will assess regularly if therapy is still helpful. Also, you can end therapy at any time and for any reason.
Frequency of sessions depends on several things (e.g. finances, issues identified, other stressors, etc.) which we will look at when we create our plan. You can attend weekly, bi-weekly, or even less frequently. Some clients will book several weeks between sessions later in our work for check-ins.
All of your information is kept confidential, except in circumstances required by law. Your information is safeguarded with passwords and kept locked. I am bound by rules that require me to keep your information private.
If you are looking to make change in a relationship, that is easier to do if the other person is present, but not necessary. Some clients find it helpful to have someone attend sessions with them for support. We can explore that option to see if it makes sense with your concerns!
